Puppy Application
Filling out this form is not a guarantee of purchasing a puppy from Sageland Poodles. This gives us a better understanding if your home and lifestyle will compliment bringing home a Standard Poodle. Once this form is filled out, we will be in contact within 48 hours. If your application becomes approved, you can place a deposit once a pregnancy is confirmed to reserve your spot in line. Sageland Poodles is a first-come, first-served operation when it comes to picking of the litter.
Deposit
Once a pregnancy is confirmed, deposits will be collected from approved applications. To reserve a puppy, a deposit of $500 must be made (applied to the full price of the puppy) to secure your spot in line. Puppies are chosen on a first-come, first-served basis. Sageland Poodles will recommend a puppy for your home environment based on The Volhard Puppy Aptitude Test, however, the final decision is yours. Once your puppy is selected, the deposit will be applied to the full price of the puppy and the remaining balance is due before the puppy can go home. Remaining balance and signed contracts are due within 48 hours of puppy selection. If they are not received in this timeline, your selected puppy may be offered to another family.
If you made a deposit before birth of the puppies and there are not enough puppies in the litter OR your temperament/color/gender preference isn’t available, your deposit may be applied to the next litter or refunded to you. If you made a deposit after birth of the puppies and you elect not to take a puppy, your deposit is forfeited.
Health Guarantee
Sageland Poodle puppies come with a 2 year health guarantee for any life-threatening genetic problems from the date of their birth.
Spay and Neuter
Sageland Poodles are sold on limited AKC registration and require all puppies be spayed and neutered that are being sold to pet homes.
Take-back Policy
Sageland Poodles will take back any poodle we produced at any time, for any reason. If at any time you can no longer care for, house, or afford your puppy, it must be returned to Sageland Poodles.
